Carla is an eccentric red head, once upon a time leg doodler, guerilla artist, aspiring lomographer and wannabe zine author, who would not presume to speak about herself in third person in real life. She has the neurological condition, Synesthesia, which makes her attach personalities to the days of the week, months, and inanimate objects. Hello darlings!

A couple of months ago I received an email from an exhibition in St Louis! The guy had seen my portfolio and asked me to submit, I sent in some pics of paintings and they accepted!

So in July (the date isn't set yet) my newest painting Tuesday will be appearing in the Drawgasmic exhibition and then in the coffee table book. I mailed away the painting yesterday, via exprrrress post, so it should arrive any day now!

Excitement?!

You should really check out the website, and if you can submit in time send your stuff in! It's a great exhibition!

In other news, my dot com is going swimmingly so if you'd like to have a peak at my comings and goings you can check it out here: Art is just frozen music. I never post in my dev art journal any more, and I'll try my best to remember. But the blog is the best place to find me.

In MORE other news, I got my hands on an old canon AE-1 film camera in perfect condition, so you'll be seeing some other film snaps along with my holga photos.
